Welcome to Solo Travel Addict. My name is Abhi. The idea of this blog came to me on December 31, 2023. I am a 33 year old solo traveler – first out of choice, now out of addiction – who has traveled to 47 countries at the time of writing. Majority of the countries were solo travel trips. By visiting my blog, you are supporting my addiction. (I like to say: One could have worse addictions than travel!)
My original goal when I took up traveling was to visit at least 100 countries by the age of 50. I did some math. It turns out that if I manage to visit an average of 2-3 countries a month from here on out, I will have visited 100 countries by the time I am 35 years old. I will take you along for the journey the best I can through this blog.
